The McMillan Shakespeare (MMS) Group is looking for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist to create a unique artwork to reflect our reconciliation journey. With offices and representatives in every Australian State and Territory, the artwork should:
Utilise common symbols where possible to reflect Aboriginal people and landscapes across Australia.
Reflect MMS’ purpose to make a difference in people’s lives.
Support our vision to be a trusted partner, providing solutions in making complex matters simple, and our Sustainability goal of being a responsible, inclusive and low-carbon business that delivers positive outcome for its customers, employees, shareholders and the communities in which we live and work.
Depict MMS’ values: Customer Always, Everyone Matters, Better Together and Strive for Greatness
Reflect MMS’ journey of reconciliation.
The artwork developed by the successful artist will be used as the feature artwork in our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2025 (RAP). The development of the Innovate RAP reflects our growing commitment to reconciliation between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous Australians.
The expression of interest (EOI) will be open from Monday 2 September 2024 until 5pm, Friday 4 October 2024.
